Venue Hire

The Alton Assembly Rooms are available for both private and commercial hire.

We offer very competitive rates and even one especially designed for local and charity groups.

Main Hall

Complete with sprung dance floor, stage, lighting/spotlighting, projection/control room, hearing loop, food preparation area.

The floor space measures 16 meters by 10 meters and is well-suited to holding dances, drama & music performances, wedding receptions and exhibitions.

It has a seated capacity of 208.

Lower Room

Measuring 8 meters by 6.5 meters, and fitted with hot water this room is suited to many uses including small exhibitions, meetings and training days.

Rear Rooms (3)

Comprising of 3 separate rooms, they are ideally suited for small business meetings or training days. They have their own point of access so can be used independently or as part of a larger booking.

Upper Room

Mirroring the proportions of the lower room this upstairs studio is a flexible use space with access supported by our newly installed stairlift.

BOOKINGS

We use the Hallmaster online booking system. To request a booking simply click on the + symbol in the scheduler above to get started and you will be directed to a screen where you can register or login to Hallmaster. Once logged in you will be able to enter the details of the booking you wish to make. Any questions or additional requirements can be added at this time too.

Don't forget to ensure that the time booked / requested includes setting up time and packing up time, in order to avoid clashes with other users.

Please note: the hiring of the Large Hall does not automatically include use of the stage, please request this when booking.

CANCELLATION & AMENDMENT POLICY

If you need to cancel or amend your booking (event), please login to Hallmaster and make your changes there.

Our charges for cancellations & amendments are as follows:

Changes to the booking date, reduction in hours or cancellation with more than 28 days notice may incur an administration fee of £10; any deposit (where applicable) made over this amount will usually be refunded if cancelled.

Bookings cancelled with between 7 to 28 days notice:

50% of the total invoice price

Bookings cancelled with less than 7 days notice:
75% of the total invoice price

Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours notice:
Booking will be invoiced in FULL
